FireDavidLetterman.com Launch

Filed in: news by Admin on 06-16-09

Following David Letterman’s controversial joke about Sarah Palin’s daughter, conservative author Michael Patrick Leahy has created FireDavidLetterman.com, a Web site that encourages citizens to abandon watching the Late Show and cease purchasing any products from companies that advertise during that hour.

The sites mission statement is : David Letterman Must Held Be Accountable For His Disgraceful Statements.

Meanwhile, a “Fire David Letterman” rally is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Ed Sullivan Theater, where he records his nightly show. Details of the rally are available at www.firedavidletterman.com.

David Letterman issued an apology for the Bristol Palin/A-Rod “knocked up” joke, but clearly it wasn’t enough to get his detractors to call off their demand that he be fired.
